One without the universe, teachers without classrooms, lessons without plans…Oh wait, this isn’t a yoga site…It’s everything I ever learned about learning…read at your own peril…
Well my friends, I hope your summer has been fab-u-lous so far. Summers come and go and apparently most of our education carnivals have been like a summer breeze--here one moment and gone the next. I miss the days when the education carnival was consistently up and running.
So-o-o-o-o my dears, let’s see if we can get this one up and running. It's called the Education Buzz. Here are a few ground rules…
No spam
Must be education related
Since the carnival may be organized around themes, not all submissions may run.
Please remember to post and link back to the carnival.
The carnival will appear on Wednesdays. Hopefully, the carnival will appear weekly. Our very first Education Buzz carnival will appear here Wednesday, August 4. Deadlines for submissions will be Saturdays by 5 p.m. Central Standard Time.
Good for you for taking this on! My blog is on hiatus for the summer, but if I do happen to post something before the deadline, I will send it your way. Thanks for doing this!
Just came back to edublogging after a 3 year hiatus and was so disappointed the Carnival of Education had died. Thanks so much for bringing it back - will definitely submit.
Well folks, I'm so-o-o-o energized by the comments I've received here and through email. I didn't realize so many others were going through carnival withdrawals! I'm really looking forward to everyone's submissions and for keeping this thing going. See you on the midway soon!
Woo-hoo! This blog was named as one of the best Education Blogs for 2010 by—drum roll pah-leese—The Washington Post.Bellringers was also named as one of the 7 Best Teacher Blogs by the London Time’s SchoolGate.

This is the photo shot by my buddy Mike McLean. I originally had it as my profile photo but everytime I posted a comment, this rather large photo would follow along. I found that, well, rather annoying, and I hate it when I annoy myself. So now I'm posting with a bunch of monkeys which sadly is probably a bit more accurate. I have left this photo up only because Mike is such a fab-u-lous photographer and because he insists I need to have some sort of "proper mug" on my site. Apparently, the boa one and the monkey one don't qualify. Go figure.
A rubber chicken?
Doesn’t everyone need a rubber chicken? Click here to find out why.

I love the name and the fact that you are willing to organize this. Now I need to find an article to submit! Thanks for doing this!
You rock, Carol.
I've missed the Carnival. Will submit, pronto. I've got blog buildup.

July was a whirlwind, but now I'm back! Sorry to have missed the first deadline, but I'll jump into things in the coming weeks!
